Corey Hart – Sunglasses At Night (12” Mix)

This is your typical “that’s so 80′s” tune which really never gets old for me, especially when you play it on a big stereo, nice and loud!

Corey Hart (yeah, that’s Corey Hart in the photo there.. not Tom Cruise) scored a huge hit with this one, he had a few other minor hits, but this is the track that first comes to mind for most people anyway. And there’s a few lines in here that kind of make me laugh… “Don’t switch the plan on a guy in shades, oh no”… I guess that means, there’s going to be some serious hell to pay if you piss this guy off by rearranging plans? Watch out!

This is the very cool (and seriously better) 12″ mix, which is also the same as the album version. It features an agressive guitar solo which is completely edited out of the single mix, so that’s totally stupid. Hope you enjoy this, the way it would be spinning if you had the album.

I’m trying my best to get this blog out to as may 80′s kids as possible. The internet is such a huge place, and I sneak in a good plug up on a variety of sites where I think there would be interested individuals.  Perhaps you know of a network of people who are into music like this, that I don’t know about? You would really makes me so happy today if you could plug this blog somewhere other than the standard sites, maybe somewhere in your Bookmarks? I would really appreciate that, you guys are awesome!!

One of my favorite songs. I used to play the album version of this at dances in college.
