Soundtrack Selection!!
Burt Bacharach – Money (instrumental from “Arthur”)
One of my favorite films of all time is the 1981 romantic comedy “Arthur” starring Dudley Moore, Liza Minnelli, and John Gielgud. THE ORIGINAL.
No not some bullshit remake that Hollywood is trying to once again screw the public over instead of coming up with a new idea. Try using your heads dip-shits!
If you’ve never seen the original you need to, it’s a classic. The story of a lovable drunk millionaire who is faced with the choice of picking between his money or his true love. I won’t ruin it for you, go watch it yourselves!
One of the grand instrumental pieces from this films soundtrack is the tune “Money” orchestrated by non other than Burt Bacharach. I’ve always really dug this particular piece of music. It’s regal in a sense, especially if you are familiar with the context of the film which it’s used a few times.
The soundtrack LP has been long out of print so odds are you’ve never heard this in all it’s completeness unless you owned said LP :)
Hope you dig it as much as I do!

Yes! This track is amazing! Countless viewings of “Arthur” has left it tattooed in my brain and I find myself humming it on occasion, and in my mind it’s Dudley Moore’s theme song. No matter what I see him in, I hear this lol
@geebeecom – Great comment!!! Glad I can always count on you to love track like this!!
